Whether you’re looking for family fun, an action-packed rodeo, or something more food-focused, there’s a fair or festival just for you. Some of the more unique options include:
- Five Points Jazz Festival is a free, all-day event held every June in Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood. Once known as the Harlem of the West, Five Points was home to several jazz clubs which played host to many of jazz music's legends. Be there to groove to the music while exploring a culturally diverse collection of food, shopping and entertainment.
- Burro Days is the Town of Fairplay's celebration of the role of the burro in mining days of old. Taking place in July, there will be burro, llama, dog and outhouse races, a parade, arts, craft and food vendors, kid’s entertainment, live music and so much more. A festival that began in 1949, Burro Days has grown over the years adding more and more activities to keep the fun going all weekend long.
- Rocky Mountain Star Stare (RMSS) is an annual star party sponsored by the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society. Offering an amazing experience for all ages and skill levels, this event features national-level speakers, outdoor activities, children’s events, and the opportunity to appreciate the clear, dark skies over Colorado.
