Host Your Own 2024 Halloween Event
If you prefer smaller crowds and easier parking, bring the Halloween festivities to you! For the kiddos, a classic pumpkin carving party is always a hit. Perhaps, make it a contest and give out prizes for the top gourds. You can also decorate cupcakes, cookies and other treats, or pop popcorn and watch some not-so-spooky movies like “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “The Addams Family.”
For an adults-only Halloween party, you can go as elaborate as hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner or keep things simple by providing guests with a theme for their costumes and making it a potluck. You can hire a tarot reader or set up a scavenger hunt. Love animals? Host a black cat adoption event, or ask your friends to bring their pets in costume and have a little parade around the neighborhood.
Whether you stay close to home or go out and enjoy October events in Denver, Boulder, and the great beyond, just be sure to Halloween responsibly!
